In this class, we introduce you to the welding tools in The Foundry's Metalshop. Metalshop Safety Orientation ClassThis class will guide you through our opportunities for welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and safe use of the tools in The Foundry's Metalshop (plasma cutter, rollers and grinders). NOTE: Long Sleeves, long pants and closed-toed shoes are important to wear for safety in this shop. Class Cost: $60 (materials fee included) Class Size: Min 4/ Max 6 This class needs to meet the minimum enrollment in order to run. Participants will be notified of cancellation on Monday prior to the first session. In case of cancellation, participants can choose another scheduled date if available or request a refund. Ages: 18+    Membership: Upon completion of this orientation - and with a donation to The Foundry as a supporter, you're eligible to use our makerspaces during Open Maker Hours.
