KC STEM Alliance is a network of educators, businesses and organizations that inspire interest in Science, Technology, and Math careers. Join WTS-KC to learn from Martha McCabe, Executive Director of KC STEM Alliance, about how the organization leads in-school and out-of-school STEM activities, increases access to STEM in underserved communities and invites community collaboration through regional initiatives. Martha will guide our group on a tour of the KC Engineering Zone (EZ). KC EZ is a 4,200-square-foot workspace where Kansas City’s K-12 urban students acquire real-world knowledge, skills and experience through hands-on science, technology, engineering and math programming.
