For the first time since 2019, we have the joy of offering an in-person KSWLA conference! We can't wait to see you then! Dates: Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24Theme: Leading Diverse Learners to ProficiencyKeynote Speaker: Ben TinsleyBen has earned undergraduate majors in French and African-American Studies, a Master's in Literacy, and training in Positive Education. He has had the opportunity to work with students and educators from around the world to develop curriculum and pedagogy that serve as both windows and mirrors. As a teacher, curriculum developer and consultant, Ben brings a diverse perspective to our classrooms, and we hope that he will help us reframe the idea of our classrooms through topics such as proficiency, comprehensible input and even Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).
