3 Arrested After Stealing Items From T-Mobile Store In Tampa

Tampa, FL —The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office arrested three men connected to a robbery at a T-Mobile store at 8712 Hillsborough Ave. in Tampa. On Dec. 5 at 7:35 p.m., five people entered the T-Mobile and began grabbing display cell phones and iPads from the shelves. A deputy in the area saw the thieves leaving store in a vehicle and followed them while the sheriff's helicopter arrived and began tracking the vehicle. Deputies stopped the vehicle at Bird Street and arrested three people. Jordan Richardson, 21, Jefferson Valmyre, 23, and Marc Ceant, 27, were charged with grand theft and Criminal mischief. Two other people got out of the vehicle in West Tampa, and have yet to be located. "Thanks to the quick action of our deputies and aviation pilots, these three men were arrested shortly after the crime was committed," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "The investigation continues as detectives search for the other two suspects. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 813-247-8200." The store clerk captured part of the robbery on a cell phone and it is included below along with video of aviation tracking the suspects.
