(Will involve a day of hiking the alps)
This is a trip for young Catholics (in their 20s and 30s) that will introduce you to the world of Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati. You'll spend your days at the following locations.
Turin: Visit the Cathedral and other churches and sites relevant to the life of Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati
Pollone: Visit the Villa Ametis Frassati, the family home of Bl. Pier Giorgio; see his own room and personal effects, and celebrate Mass there.
Oropa: Visit the mountain shrine of Oropa, home to an ancient statue of the Blessed Mother and Jesus brought there by St. Eusebius in the 300s.
Hike in the Alps: Staying overnight in a "rifugio" (mountain hostel), summit three alpine peaks on an all-day hike culminating with Mass on the Mountain at the Poggio Frassati.
Biella: Visit the Medieval city frequented by Bl. Pier Giorgio and home to Bl. Augustine Fangi, OP
