Reconnect 4 Excellence Conference HAABSE’s Recconnect 4 Excellence conference is an immersive professional development event that provides cutting-edge opportunities for educators to gain knowledge and skills in instruction, leadership, social-emotional learning, and school culture. Who Should Attend HAABSE and TABSE members, supporters, superintendents, principals, higher education administrators, school and college board members, education human resource professionals, deans, professors, education department heads, administrative/educational support staff, teachers, parents, curriculum specialists, students, clergy, employers, job seekers and any individual or organization concerned about the education of our state’s children and adult learners. Featuring Concurrent Workshops on Important Topics: Instruction - Curriculum alignment, instructional design, and assessment development strategies that result in improved student learning. Specifically addressing topics such as literacy, college developmental education, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Leadership- Relevant issues faced by district leaders, principals, higher education administrators, and aspiring leaders, including counselors and school/college board members. Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)- Practices and topics related to the process of teaching and learning social skills, self-awareness, emotional management, responsible decision making, and relationship skills that students and staff need to succeed in every area and stage of their lives. Culture- Strategies and topics that relate to creating a positive atmosphere for campus stakeholders, encourage pupils' abilities to learn by providing them with opportunities, learn how to alter your leadership style and become a more effective leaders, increasing employee morale, work ethic, results, and expectations, establishing communication channels, developing relationships with students, & improving parental and community involvement tactics that result in the establishment of high-quality learning environments creating conditions conducive for effective teaching and learning. Note to recipient(s) Attendees will not gain access to conference activities without remitting full payment in advance prior to the conference. Terms and Conditions Requests for refunds and/or cancellations must be made in writing and postmarked no later than May 4th, 2022, to be given consideration. Refunds and/or cancellation of registration will not be granted after May 4th, 2022. An invoice will be issued for the total cost of registration. Purchase Orders No purchase orders will be accepted for this event.
