PEARL RIVER, NY — A popular local eatery, The Saloon, has had its liquor license suspended after Halloween festivities didn't follow pandemic protocols, The Journal News reported.
A spokesman for the State Liquor Authority, William Crowley, told TJN Wednesday that inspectors found more than 60 patrons crowded inside the pub on West Central Avenue, many without face masks, and many drinking without ordering food.
The newspaper quoted co-owner Bridget Killen saying the restaurant would be 100 percent compliant going forward.
