The goal of this course is to prepare students through relevant drill work to successfully carry a concealed pistol every day. We will work on a variety of skills and shoot several different drills and courses of fire that will enable us to not only improve our current skill level, but also determine areas of improvement. As always, our class will be hosted by Nationally Certified Instructors This class will further develop skills introduced in the Mississippi Enhanced Permit Course. We will cover: • Safety • Basic Shooting Skills Assessment • Maximum Effective Range • Drawing from Concealment • Ready Position(s) • Defensive Shooting Drills (Two Hands, Dominant Hand Only, and Non-Dominant Hand Only) • Skills Assessment Course of Fire *During some of the drills there will be opportunities for students to win small prizes for their performance! Course Pre-Requisites- • Mississippi Enhanced Firearms Permit, Out of State Equivalent Permit, or verifiable documented training.
