QUALIFICATION STANDARDS: Minimum of one year of custodial/day porter experience. Computer literate. Independently perform custodial tasks Must be prepared to execute all custodial duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner. Operate power and manual janitorial equipment. Work independently in absence of supervision. Interpret written instructions and warning labels on cleaning solutions. Understand and follow oral and written instructions. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. MUST HAVE A Valid Driver’s License. Position requires the individual to lift up to 50 pounds. Position requires standing for extended period. Must be reliable and professional DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The Custodian/Day Porter is responsible for performing custodial duties and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that the Plaza, grounds, and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner. Position requires that you can work outside most of your day. Able to work 6:30am-3:30pm and as needed to support the business. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Disinfect and clean tables, chairs, and patio furniture Disinfect and clean amphitheater seating and walkways Disinfect water fountains Clean exterior glass Sweep exterior walkways and entrance Respond to emergency clean ups on campus Use cleaning material and equipment as instructed Ensure the practice of proper safety procedures Site and Garage garbage pickup daily. Drive company vehicle and follow all safety rules Hours are 6:30AM-3:30PM M-F
