Work Location: Fort Lauderdale Job Status: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00/hr. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8am-4:30pm POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: The Maintenance Technician handles many different areas of repair, such as plumbing, electricity, ventilation, air conditioning, and other building systems. The Maintenance Tech is also responsible for evaluating problematic systems and determining what repairs need to be performed. Maintenance Technician are also responsible for coordinating with building or complex management on supplies needed for the job, as well as maintenance inventory. Job Duties and Responsibilities  Perform or arrange for general building and fixture repairs. Landscaping and upkeep of grounds equipment.  Keep the building in a clean and orderly condition by examining the building on a regular basis for needed repairs, maintenance, and cleanliness.  Other duties as assigned. Knowledge and Skills  Knowledge of company policies, procedures and forms at a proficient level.  Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.  Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)  Knowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)  Knowledge of HVAC, including codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)  Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.  Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.  Time management and time critical prioritization skills. **Must adhere to a background/drug screening High School Diploma or GED Required Knowledge in general maintenance, electric, plumbing, painting, HVAC systems, landscaping.
