Meet Zeus, a two month old male hybrid dwarf hamster! This little guy was kept in a tiny cage with no wheel and very little bedding, but despite his rough start in life Zeus is a sweetheart. He is completely hand tame (though a bit shy and nippy at first) and loves to climb on your hands and legs. Zeus is a bit of a goof ball and loves his playpen (aka the bathtub!). Because of his somewhat rough start to life, he is slightly under developed and still learning how to burrow and about where his mouth does and does not go, so he will need an owner who is willing and patient enough to help him learn about the world around him. Zeus is currently being housed at Little Bear Hamster Rescue, and although his adoption fee is $10, he will come with his bin cage for an extra $30 ($40 in all) if you do not have a cage.
