Stars and Cars Cinema a pop-up drive-in movie theatre in Pearl River, NY is looking for two different employment positions.  Marketing/Social Media Assistants Part-time marketing and social media production assistants needed. Duties would include working with the marketing team leader in coordinating and implementing grass-roots marketing strategies for local area outreach. This can include distributing flyers, identifying local ticket buyers, assisting with local area online advertising and posting, and working on the overall social media profile of the drive-in. Estimated 3 – 10 hours per week, with some daytime hours, some evening and weekend hours based on individual availability. Production Assistants Production assistants are needed to help with the operation of the movie each night. Schedule would be upon availability but would generally be from 5:30pm – 10:00pm on movie nights. Duties would include screen set-up, ticket scanning, assisting in parking, concessions delivery, and screen break-down after the movie. This is a physically engaging position working outdoors. Applicants must be able to lift 50 pounds, be comfortable working in a team setting, and be flexible and responsive.
