WAUKESHA, WI — A Waukesha man who was charged with threatening to blow up a bank was sentenced to probation on Wednesday, according to a report. A court sentenced Joshua LePak, 30, to two years of probation, court documents showed. LePak pleaded guilty to a bomb scare count as part of a deal to have six other charges dismissed. The 30-year-old was charged with bomb scares, terrorist threats and five counts of bail jumping on Sept. 7, 2021, court records showed. An employee at the Waukesha State Bank flagged down police and told them that LePak said the bank was "going to be robbed and shot and blown up," according to the criminal complaint. LePak had made the threat after asking workers "bizarre" questions about security, the complaint said. When the man was arrested, he said "I guess I'll have to go through with my plan then."
