Live Music...Delicious Desserts...Honoring Our Volunteers! Serving our community has never tasted so SWEET! Hello Celebration Community! You helped us carry our mission forward with love & kindness. Now it’s our turn to give back! Join us on May 16th between 6pm-8:30pm EST as we celebrate our amazing community volunteers! During our Summer Sweet Tooth Event, we'll gather at Lakeside to enjoy a great evening together filled with gratitude, delicious desserts, and live music! We will be taking a few moments to acknowledge some incredible Embrace Volunteers who were pivotal in supporting our community outreach programs. We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you! This event is for Celebration Residents and their special guests! Please bring yourself, your Sweet Tooth, proof of your Celebration Residency, and don't forget to invite your loved ones along. This is a family-friendly event and Registration for this incredible night is FREE if you claim your seat before 5 pm EST on Friday, May 13th, 2022. We cannot wait to see you there! Learn More about Embrace: Embrace started even before its name was defined. Bettina, our founder, felt she needed to give back to a community that has 'embraced' her since she came from Germany. Seeing the challenges that people face, whether depression, sickness, or poverty, Bettina began stepping out to make a difference. She decided to host some initial meetings with caring friends in the community to discuss local needs and how they could make a difference. After sharing her vision with friends, who immediately supported her vision and the project, they came up with a name and mission statement. In the beginning, it was mostly small community events in which we raised funds, provided clothing, and food for our local families who were facing hardship. Eventually, more people volunteered their time with Embrace, and our dream became reality. Today, we help a great number of families along 192, in Kissimmee, Florida, and we also support other entities with seasonal help, like 'back to school' initiatives, housing projects, and major food initiatives to provide for those less fortunate and put our best foot forward.
