Join the UCA Makerspace team for Youth Maker Monday! Join Ms. Sharon and Anita for Youth Maker Monday! This month’s maker activity will introduce kids to the world of robotics and electronics! It’s the ultimate STEAM project. Using vibrational motion to propel your robots, you will build simple electrical circuits that bring your robots to life. You can explore a wide range of movements and simple robot behaviors with three different robots to make, from shuffling about randomly to scribbling with a marker. We have two youth maker Monday's a month. Both classes will be the same but for different ages. This class is FREE and designed to introduce young makers, ages 11-14, to the world of innovation! Supplies and instructions are supplied by the Makerspace staff. For child safety, we ask that parents remain responsible for any child under the age of 14 during the duration of the class. Makerspace is powered by the University of Central Arkansas and the Conductor.
