SPOTLIGHT: QUICKSTEP PRIMARY SCHOOL, ST. ELIZABETH JAMAICA! We are building to improve quality of school experience for the children! We build safe, secure, and solid schools so children learn! The Jamaica Capital Building Fund is raising $2 million (Estimated Goal) based on the following objectives: Objective 1: To Create remote, rural school construction projects that protect children, thus improving quality of schooling and enhancing educational opportunities for all children Objective 2: To Act from a rights-based approach to provide safe, clean, secure, and open-spaced school environments for all primary school-aged children to thrive, learn and dream of improved futures Objective 3: To Keep the issue of school-aged children’s safety at the top of the national and global agenda and work within the context of government educational plans to increase partnership and ownership of children’s safe existence Objective 4: To Work with a diverse set of partners ranging from major international, educational, developmental, and humanitarian organizations and locally based groups to make our schools clean, structurally safe, and better places for all children to learn and excel Objective 5: To Mobilize millions to support school construction projects that enhance the quality of school-life experience for children as well as to develop innovative financing mechanisms to foster each project’s sustainability
