MILFORD, CT — An area martial arts school has relocated from Orange to Milford, according to a release from a commercial real estate firm. Angel Commercial, LLC, announced last week that Wu Dang Kung Fu Academy has executed a long-term lease for 6,600 square feet at 49 Research Drive in Milford, bringing the building's occupancy to 100 percent. The landlord is D'Amato Investments LLC. Established in 2007, the Wu Dang Kung Fu Academy offers Kung Fu lessons, an afterschool program, and a summer camp for children. It will be relocating from 518 Boston Post Road in Orange. "We had many parties interested in this space," said Jon Angel, president of Angel Commercial LLC, the sole broker in this transaction. "Industrial flex space is currently in high demand and scarce supply in Fairfield County." The property at 49 Research Drive is a 23,000-square-foot, multi-tenanted handicap accessible building with central air-conditioning on 2.12 acres, street signage and 40 shared parking spaces. Other tenants in this building include Pro Batter Sports, Anixter and Shannon Auctioneers. Angel Commercial specializes in the acquisition, disposition and leasing of office, industrial, retail, land, investment and development properties locally and nationally.
