Here are the top three stories in Charleston today: The newest ship in the United States Navy's fleet will be commissioned in Charleston. The USS Frank E. Petersen Jr. is an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer that will be commissioned during a special ceremony on May 14. The ceremony will be live-streamed through a link that will go active on Saturday. (WCBD News 2)The Charleston County Sheriff's Office has arrested three additional students in connection with fights that occurred last month at a Charleston school. According to court documents, Nivea Bennett and Navaeh Middleton, both 18 years old, face four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The third individual, whose name is being withheld since they are a juvenile, is being charged with third-degree assault and resisting arrest.
