Description
We are looking for a Senior Technician to join our NE Project Services team! This person serves as a senior technician and has a broad range of duties which include technical project lead, systems administration, phone and desk-side support, junior technician development, ad-hoc reporting, technology/tool/solution research and analysis, level I, II, III and VIP support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide hands-on and/or telephone technical support to client end usersProvide resolution and assistance to Windows X related problemsNetwork access troubleshooting and repair; Some administration of network devicesHardware and software support Diagnosis and removal of malware (viruses, spyware, etc.)Enter, retrieve, forward, edit, and close service tickets using client ticketing systemsActive Directory maintenance and administrationInstall and repair faulty or damaged operating system softwareProject related roles including initiation, planning, management, and execution/documentation
QUALIFICATIONS
A+ certification (preferred)MCSA (preferred)Dell and/or HP certified (a plus)CCNA (preferred)Proficient with Microsoft Office ApplicationsExcellent customer service skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSkilled with organization, decision making and time managementAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong knowledge of Windows operating systemsAbility to troubleshoot hardware and software problemsKnowledgeable on software installations
