DOYLESTOWN, PA — The new Doylestown Borough Hall and Broad Commons Park are open, and the borough celebrated Thursday with a dedication ceremony and open house in the bright sunshine.
The borough hall at 10 Doyle Street also serves as Central Bucks Regional Police Department headquarters. It opened in January after a more than $10 million construction project.
The building was formerly the PennDOT maintenance facility.
Sen. Steve Santarsiero (D-PA-10) and Councilperson Larry Browne, a longtime photojournalist, shared photos of the event.
"This building is a terrific example of re-using existing space, thanks to the partnership between the state, local elected officials and the Heritage Conservancy," Santarsiero said in a Facebook post.
