LIVERMORE, CA — Athletes in Livermore have been awarded for their hard work and dedication to softball after receiving 2022 Spring Athlete of the Year awards from 49ers Cal-Hi Sports. Makayla Winchell from Granada High School has been named Softball Player of the Year. Taylor Rodriguez from Livermore High School was named Softball Pitcher of the Year. "Within the next week, the staff will be interviewing the following athletes in the NBC Sports Studio at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara for a video to be aired on our show June 5," Cal-Hi Sports said.
