LIVERMORE, CA — Police have impounded a second car they say was involved in a sideshow on April 11 in Livermore. "If you endanger our community we will store your car," Chief Jeramy Young said. The white Nissan 350Z was part of a sideshow on Chestnut and P Streets, police said. Officers impounded another car on April 19 after an increase in reckless driving reports. A man was shot on April 13 while trying to get the license plate of a car he saw doing doughnuts in a neighborhood off Chestnut and M Streets. Police said all reports would be taken seriously. "LPD is committed to identifying those who participate in sideshow activity and we will hold them accountable," Young said. Police arrested Manuel Ixta, 20, of Livermore, on suspicion of evading police in connection with the shooting on April 13. They have not said if there have been any additional arrests.
