ROSEVILLE, MN — Speed and the lack of a seat belt were factors in a single-car crash that killed a Brooklyn Park man just after 5 p.m. on Saturday, according to authorities.
Earl C. Anderson, 46, was driving a Cadillac Escalade east on Highway 36 when his car began to exit to Dale Street but went off the road into the ditch, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The SUV then hit a fence, rolled, and finally stopped after crashing into several trees.
The vehicle "had a combination of airbags deployed," authorities said. Conditions were dry at the time of the crash, according to police.
