Here are the top stories today in Sandy Springs: NoriFish recently opened in Sandy Springs, offering high end omakase meals, as well as a la carte options. Sean Park, owner and executive chef of Okiboru Tsukemen & Ramen, has expressed his desire to offer a more modern take on sushi. The restaurant's beverage menu features Japanese beers, and a wide array of sake. (Atlanta Magazine) Atlanta police credit the decrease in fatal DUI accidents to a handful of new drunk driving checkpoints across the city. Officers targeted locations considered hotspots for drunk driving and made 14 arrests in just three hours last week. The number of deaths related to drunk driving have gone down 40 percent since last year. (FOX 5 Atlanta)Atlanta rapper Young Thug was arrested and booked in Fulton County Jail on Monday on charges dating back to 2013. Jeffery Lamar Williams, professionally known as Young Thug, faces a gang activity charge from 2018, and a RICO related charge from 2013. The official indictment named 27 other people, all of whom are allegedly tied to the street gang "Young Slime Life."
