Student Illustrator for YA Book/Alice in Wonderland type book

Hi! I am a Tisch MFA NYU alum, primarily a musician and a screenwriter, just wrote a book and am looking for a Cooper Union, NYU, Pratt, Parsons, New School, RISD illustrator to make it pop off the page with a few illustrations. I'm starting to look at portfolios and rates. Style: I like the old-school types of water color or John Tenniel's Alice in Wonderland, Wind in the Willows (multiple versions), Beatrix Potter. Not a fan of styles now, like anime or that "big eye" look in animation. Looking for the classic look or even at times a 60s psychedelic, wood block, etching, painting, water color, pen ink, scratch, etc. Ideally a student who wants to build portfolio. Book has potential for big franchise, etc.
