Today is National Fentanyl Awareness Day. I lost my best friend and fellow musician/bandmate to a fentanyl overdose two years ago. I have 10 brand new acoustic guitars (Mostly Recording King brand) that I am giving away in his memory. He was a teacher to kids, mentor to many and a very talented musician. My hope is that these guitars will land in the hands of a young adult or child that would benefit from the gift of music and hopefully, create a path of creativity and songwriting, instead of drug use or violence. If you know someone that could be positively impacted by a guitar, but that does not have the means to obtain one, reach out to me via email (even if that is you). I've considered giving these away to an organization that operates to serve at-risk youth, but I really have no way of knowing the impact it's having. My hope is to make a difference in someone's life in the memory of my friend. Please don't take advantage of this situation. If you don't believe it will make a difference to someone who really needs a positive outlet in their life, don't ask. Thanks. -KG
