I am a teacher in Oklahoma City Public Schools and doctoral student at Grand Canyon University. I am doing an educational study. Purpose of study is to explore how experienced elementary teachers describe their level of Culturally Responsive Teaching preparedness and experiences regarding the use and value of implementing culturally diverse subject matter in curriculum. The study has been approved by the Institutional Review Board. If you are an elementary teacher in OKCPS with at least one year of experience providing culturally diverse curricula to students, please consider participating in this study by sharing your experiences that could possibly help other educators. Participation is voluntary. There is no money required to participate. There is no money offered for participation. All data will be protected. Will use Zoom for interview and focus group.
