Laborer / Window Mechanics Helper: Learn and Help our skilled Mechanics repair and install commercial windows, doors, insulated glass units, mirrors, etc. Can you measure accurately? Do you have a valid driver's license? How about a good work ethic? We are in search of a full time Laborer/ Window Mechanics Helper who can work with a small crew, measure accurately, lift over 50lbs, and communicate accurately with our customers and our main office staff. You must speak English, you must be able to work legally in the United States. We are a small business servicing High End Residential and Commercial Accounts in New York City and surrounding areas for 25 years. Most days we start/end at Bay Shore Warehouse, conveniently located a short walk from the Deer Park LIRR Station. We are looking for the right person interested in a career, ability to advance is available. Must have checkable references and experience with hand tools, sawzall, chop saw, tape measure. We require a Pre-employment drug test and background check. You will learn window repair, removal, installation, insulated glass identification and installation, caulking, capping, screens and various parts such as balances, locks, shoes etc. In return, we can offer you a steady paycheck, paid vacation and sick days, health insurance and 401K plan available after 90 days.
