We are a small, local Humboldt business located near downtown Eureka. We offer products that help aid cigarette smokers with quitting their addiction & taking back their mental, emotional, & physical freedom. We also own other businesses that may require additional help from time to time. Note: We do not work with cannabis or tobacco. Job Description We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule that can help for roughly 6-10 hours per week (preferably short shifts Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays). The job will entail product creation (must be able to work with herbs & flowers), basic computer work, assisting, printing, packing, shipping, dropping packages off at post office, organizing, cleaning, and other tasks. 18+ & must have reliable transportation. Schedule We are flexible, but do have to tailor our daily work-load to the daily requirements of our business. That being said, a regular or irregular schedule can be discussed during the initial interview. Compensation We are willing to start someone at $17 per hour who is willing to work on a 1099 contract basis in the short term. Long Term Ultimately, we would like to bring in someone who can manage most of the day-to-day aspects of the office, and eventually, this contract position can turn into a part or full-time management scenario, with higher pay and flexible hours. Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate must be reliable & flexible, as we tailor our business to our current demand, which can change slightly from day to day. This means that the hours and the work itself may slightly fluctuate depending on the day and the amount of our online orders. Our ideal candidate must be trustworthy, able to adapt quickly, self-motivated, willing to grow, positive, & ready to work smart, & efficiently. Education and Experience Requirements We do not require any specific education, but do require that applicant has worked at least one job before. Candidates must be willing to learn and adapt to our unique business/mission and be able to perform many different tasks ranging from easy to hard in mental and physical difficulty.
