Maintenance Technician POSITION DESCRIPTION: A national NASDAQ listed FM company is offering a full time position. Full benefits after 90 days. Long term assignment. Purpose: To professionally respond to Client requests and the end users as required. Perform maintenance work under supervision of an Engineer, on heavy duty mechanical equipment, boilers, HVAC, pumps, etc. including general and common areas inside and outside the buildings within the property lines. Relationship to Other Positions: Reports to: Engineering Manager Job Functions Essential Functions: a) Assists in complying with all City, State, and Federal safety and environmental laws, codes, standards and regulations. b) Operate building management systems and accountable for the shift operations. c) Performs general maintenance under the supervision and direction of the Engineering Manager. Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and building facilities as outlined by the Engineering Manager to include, but not limited to: 1. Servicing assistance for heavy duty boilers, HVAC, pumps, cold rooms and more. 2. Toilet facilities including soap dispensers 3. Replacement of lamps and cleaning of light fixtures 4. Removing and replacement of ceiling tiles 5. Minor repairs on furniture and floors 6. Maintaining and/or replacing door hardware 7. General cleaning in mechanical spaces 8. Cleanup of equipment in mechanical rooms and shop 9. Miscellaneous carpentry work requiring the limited use of hand tools Provides and maintains paint finishes as directed or within the guidelines set forth by the Engineering Manager and shall include, but are not limited to the following areas: 1. Mechanical equipment 2. Mechanical rooms 3. Common areas 4.
