Then he held rallies where people stood elbow to elbow without masks. Then didn't get vaccinated publicly and early. He did it secretly and it only came out much later." To which I would agree. The orange monkey threw money at it by giving away trillions of dollars and got nothing for it. At the very least, a smart person would have considered a massive public works program where you got paid now but had to do some hours of public service at a later date. And look at all the people that have been busted for fraud on the Pandemic Protection Program for business. Whoooooooweeeeeee! They just handed out cash (MY TAX DOLLARS) to anyone who asked. Complete morons. The other half of the massive debt increase came directly from the massive tax cuts he gave to the ultrawealthy and the completely wasteful spending increases on things that didn't need it like INFRASTRUCTURE. The government could have prepaid for an awful lot of work with that pandemic spending spree that got nothing. Conservatives ALWAYS spend wildly and stupidly and the deficit skyrockets. Then a Democrat gets elected and they suddenly become the party of fiscal responsibility. The deficit was already rising rapidly BEFORE the pandemic. It's what Trump does. Spends money, then declares bankruptcy. Walks away with money falling out of his pockets while banks or taxpayers get left holding the bag. You were taken.
