I am an experienced female singer/guitarist/songwriter seeking a male singer/guitarist to collaborate with on original music as well as covers. I am looking for someone who is both a strong singer and strong musician and I would love to work with somebody who can trade off with me on lead vocals as well as harmony/background singing. The harmony singing ability is particularly important to me as I'd like us to be a duo that is known for not only great playing, but strong singing and amazing harmonies. To me, there is nothing better than singing in harmony with someone whose voice blends perfectly with mine :) As for my guitar playing, I am primarily an acoustic player and am strong on rhythm playing as well as fingerstyle. I am self-taught and a "feel" musician. You don't have to be the same to work with me, but just understand that this is where I am coming from. I play and sing from the heart. My biggest influences are Led Zeppelin, Joni Mitchell, early Heart, CSN, the Pretenders, U2. I also dabble on bass and percussion if the need arises.
