Bristol Design Build Services, LLC is seeking a Carpenter in our Golden, CO location. The Carpenter supports client needs by performing manual labor in support of projects. Major Responsibilities Perform manual labor including operating small hand tools and power tools. Perform heavy labor such as carrying and lifting materials and other activities. Promote safe work practices and adhere to company and client safety policies and procedures for work performed, including proper hazard recognition and mitigation of task. Demonstrate adherence to established safety policies and procedures and accept accountability for safe work practices. Routinely perform safety and productivity observations; shop, field, and vehicle inspections. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Education/Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record. 3-5 Years of relative experience desired. Required Knowledge or Skills Ability to work well with others in an environment that includes harsh weather conditions, diversified personalities. Ability to communicate effectively with fellow workers. Ability to clearly speak, write, read and understand the English language. Knowledge of and ability to follow Bristol client safety programs and regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines as they relate to this position and the work duties being performed. Ability to plan and organize workload. Ability to establish and maintain a rapport and strong working relationship with co-workers. Ability to relate to and work with personnel in all levels of an organization required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud. Position may involve working with potentially hazardous materials and wastes. Must be a team player, willing to assist other craft persons as necessary to get the job done. Preferred Knowledge or Skills OSHA 30. Craft certifications. First AID/AED certification.
