OC Construction Services is seeking an Assistant Construction Manager / Assistant Warehouse Manager We are looking to fill an “Assistant Construction Manager/ Assistant Warehouse Manager” position to complete Remodels and Apartment Renovations and Capital Improvements on several properties. Would prefer some construction experience but it is not required. If you would like to learn we would like to teach you! Some warehouse experience preferred. These positions will work closely with the Sr. Project Manager and team members for renovations. The responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time by overseeing all aspects of the project; assign responsibilities; monitor and summarize progress to upper management regarding status of the project. ASSISTANT CONSTRUCTION MANAGER EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND DUTIES: Prefer working knowledge of multifamily, of General Construction processes and methods including power tools, equipment and of various construction materials, general carpentry, painting, tape and texture, wall and baseboard preparation and sheetrock patching Prefer working knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods including basic plumbing and electrical a plus Prefer working knowledge of measuring and installing cabinet doors a plus Prefer working knowledge of general plumbing processes and methods a plus Initiative-taker to accomplish and complete daily tasks/workload with proficiency with the ability to prioritize needs Work alongside trade partners to complete tasks; establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors Communicate daily with all team members (internal and external) with schedule updates Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to speak with and advise clients in a professional and polite manner Experience with email, word, time sheets, job documentation, etc.; Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Update detailed project plan to monitor and track progress and performance Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels Problem solving skills and positive can-do attitude; be timely, dependable, presentable, professional appearance, well balanced nature, flexibility to manage change on the fly ASSISTANT WAREHOUSE MANGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary requirements for the Warehouse Team Member are to perform a wide variety of tasks involved in the shipping and/or receiving of materials, supplies and equipment. Be an extremely dependable and safety conscious individual that can excel at accurately labeling material, monitoring inventory, calculating, and verifying quantities, and using computers to maintain records within a high-volume warehouse environment. REQUIREMENTS: Must have some Warehouse work experience Must have a desire to learn and accel in both positions Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move or position objects weighing up to 50 pounds and assist others with objects weighing more Have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance and own reliable transportation, truck is preferred/needed COMPENSATION: This company offers competitive wages, medical/Dental benefits, paid holidays, and vacation Pay: $21 - $32 per hour based upon experience If you interested in an opportunity with this company, then please respond to this ad with your resume
