Board Treasurer for WashCo Bikes (age 18+) Referral Washington County Bicycle Transportation Coalition | https://washcobikes.org/ We make bicyclists and bicycling better in Washington County – through education, encouragement, and advocacy. The Treasurer is a Board Level position. The primary responsibilities are to provide oversight of the books and finances for the organization, and have overall responsibility for all corporate funds. The Treasurer will provide financial reports to the BOD on a regular or as-needed basis; monitor the debits/credits to detect fraud/theft; monitor the monthly payroll reports for errors; financial analysis/support for decision making; provide a suggested budget to the board each year. Some items can be done by others as appropriate. This person should be somewhat skilled in Excel, and have some experience in budgeting and financial control, and be able to explain financial information to the Board in an easily understood manner. Our board meets the second Monday of each month (Virtually at least for the time being). Meetings last less than 2 hours. Other work can be self scheduled. Opportunity Requirements: Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity.
