Responsibilities: • Most commonly completing pressure tests, chlorination's, hot-taps, and HDPE welding on water, sewer and storm lines. All training will be provided by current Ferguson Associates. • Install or replace machinery, equipment, and new or replacement parts, using hand or power tools. • Use detailed company guidelines, performs on-site preventative maintenance, new installation of parts. • Transfer tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from workstations and other areas. • Perform quality checks on the installation work to ensure proper installation practices are used. • Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders. • Assist with other work in coordination with repair, installation and maintenance teams. • May also be responsible for providing expert technical support to customers and the sales team in a given discipline(s) including: systems installations, repairs, preventative maintenance and pro-active follow-up. • Properly install product per specifications. • Test product as directed to ensure proper functionality. • Complete the necessary paperwork and documentation related to the installation. • Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management.
