Title: Forklift Operator Company: Nylon Corporation of America (NYCOA) Location: Manchester, New Hampshire NYCOA is seeking a highly motivated, temporary Forklift Operator to join their Operations team in Manchester, New Hampshire. As a Forklift Operator, you will be instrumental in moving items around our warehouse safely and efficiently. RESPONSIBILITIES *Utilize forklift to unload materials from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places. *Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment. *Identify and report shortages or quality deficiencies. *Identify and report any damages to supervisor immediately upon discovery. *Transport raw materials to production workstations. *Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance. *Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs on a timely basis. *Comply with NYCOA policies and guidelines and follow good housekeeping to maintain a safe working environment. SCHEDULE: This is a temporary, day shift M-F (7:00 AM-4:00 PM) position that will run for 3 - 6 months. COMPENSATION: NYCOA puts great value into the Forklift Operator position by offering a wage commensurate with knowledge and experience. QUALIFICATIONS: *High School Diploma or equivalent *2+ years experience operating sit-down forklifts *Able to lift 55 pounds, sit and stand for long periods of time, climb stairs, withstand repetitive movement, and work in a * *Basic math and computer skills. *Excellent communication skills. *Able to work with minimal supervision. *Willing to work in a respectful, team-oriented environment.
