Position Title: Material Handler - 1st Shift Wage: $15-$16/hour DOE Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-3:30pm Looking for a new opportunity with a company that offers great benefits, growth, and advancement opportunities? Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Receive, ship, load, and unload materials/parts from suppliers or carriers - Material may be unloaded from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, with forklift, or other material handling device - Visually inspect incoming pieces/parts for compliance and obvious damage; informing Quality if necessary - Load and unload trucks using a forklift and pallet jacks - Keep inventory records organized - Palletize product - Keep the warehouse clean and organized Requirements: - Forklift experience - Warehouse inventory experience preferred - Ability to operate a pallet jack - Ability to pass certification for industrial vehicle license - Repetitively lift 40-50lbs - Stand 8-10 hours a day - Working environment temperatures vary substantially - Noise levels vary from moderate to high - Ability to identify and solve problems QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic.
