Meet Ghost -- he's a 10-year old large breed (about 65 lbs) dog who is currently in the Mt. Vernon Shelter. We had the absolute pleasure of meeting this handsome hunk while rescuing a cat from there. He walked up and did an adorable lean into us for pets and then say politely for pictures. Sadly his human was injured and could no longer care for him so he wound up in the shelter. He's a calm loving dog who likes to sit in the sun -- I guess you'd call him a grass potato. Ready for Rescue wants to save him but we need a foster to step up. He did live with another dog but can be dog selective so we think a home with no other pets would be ideal. Please respond if you would like to help this awesome dog.
