We're a cloth diaper service for New York City, based in Gowanus, and we are looking for a Delivery Driver who could:• Work EVERY MONDAY and WEDNESDAY night.• Plus occasional coverage routes on other nights of the week.• Using YOUR own vehicle• The routes start at 8:30 pm and generally end by 12 am.• The routes are: Monday night - Chelsea and the West Village. Wednesday night - North Slope, Brooklyn. Plus occasional coverage routes in other parts of the city and New Jersey.To be considered as a candidate, you must...• Be able to work your shifts at least 48 weeks of the year.• Must have/use your own insured/registered vehicle.• Must have easy access to a GPS or smartphone (for receipt of digital routes)• Must have easy email and/or text access (for normal job communications)• Must have a valid drivers license• Must be a non-smoker• Must clear a background check• Must be fluent in English• Must be comfortable interacting with customers• Must be able to carry 20 pounds up/down 5th-floor walk-ups.• Must be comfortable working in inclement weather and driving conditions, at night, and in all neighborhoods within NYC.• Must have a valid checking account to receive pay via Direct Deposit.• Pay is "on the books". You will be required to fill out a W-4. (a 1099 or cash is not an option)• Must be able to legally work in the U.S. Pay:• Pay is based on mileage + # of stops. Overall, these two routes average $175/week for about 8 hours of work (about $22/hour)• You will be paid on the next Friday from the week you worked, via Direct Deposit.All of our existing drivers stay with us for a year or more (a few for 10+ years!)
