JOB DESCRIPTION: WAREHOUSE JOB FUNCTIONS  Safely operate forklift and crane in outside yard and warehouse.  Accurately process incoming orders.  Stage material for customer viewings and to load trucks.  Inspect, count, and verify all materials/products received against paperwork documentation prior to unloading trucks/containers. Note discrepancies on paperwork.  Sign off on all orders and obtain cross-check with co-workers/supervisor.  Load and unload material onto trucks safely and accurately.  Secure all slabs on trucks using safety straps, and chains.  Safely move and secure bundles in warehouse.  Tag and identify material as and when needed.  Maintain a clean, safe work environment.  Responsible for quality control. Inspect material when loading trucks to ensure customer satisfaction. Ensure container material to be in satisfactory condition when unloading containers.  Operate forklifts and hoists as needed following all standard safety operating policies and using all required PPE.  Communicate with co-workers to ensure safety and establish a consistent level of teamwork.  Follow and adhere to all company safety policies, standard operating procedures and other duties as assigned. DRIVER JOB FUNCTIONS  Complete timely deliveries.  Responsible for performing inspections before and at time of delivery  Assist in loading and unloading trucks  Maintain and submit paperwork concerning delivery orders  Submit reports of any damages.  Maintain professional representation of Architectural Surfaces in all interactions with customers and responsible driving  Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver’s logs, records of fuel purchases, mileage records, and other records required by law and Architectural Surfaces policies  Other general labor and warehouse duties as assigned POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:  Hardworking, dependable individual with a team player attitude  Ability to use and/or learn proper forklift operation  Ability to read and understand order forms and serial numbers  Ability to follow written and verbal/non-verbal instructions  Drivers must have at least 2 years of commercial driving with a clean record and current Class A CDL and Med Card EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  High School Diploma or equivalent  Prefer commercial driving experience  Prefer flatbed experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES  Hardworking, dependable individual with a team player attitude  Ability to use and/or learn proper forklift operation  Ability to read and understand order forms and serial numbers  Ability to follow written and verbal/non-verbal instructions WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Flexible with shift start & finish times • Ability to work in indoor/outdoor elements • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50+ lbs. • Ability to use and/or learn proper forklift operation. • Ability to read and understand order forms and serial numbers. • Ability to understand and communicate verbal and no verbal instructions Ability to maneuver to and from trailer deck CALL FOR INTERVIEW: 919-431-9494 or COME TO HIRING EVENT MAY 19 or MAY 21
