This domestic pet 'Mini Rex Rabbit' was circling our yard a few days ago feeding on the grass when my son and a neighbor caught him, or 'her' (haven't looked). The rabbit is as cute as can be, very gentle. It really needs to be adopted by an 'indoor experienced rabbit owner' as we are not experienced with rabbits at all, plus have a cat who is a little bit too curious and the rabbit doesn't like it, so have been putting cat in separate room while the rabbit is out free roaming for a few hours.
From what I read so far about this breed is that they are strictly indoor rabbits and are not able to survive winters due to their extremely short fur, thus making it an 'indoor only' pet rabbit. Fur is so short in fact that it feels just like literal velvet to the touch.
It is most definitely 'not' yet litter box trained yet, so will need someone with the patience needed, and the knowledge on potty training rabbits (yes it's possible and plenty of videos to show how it's done), as she is most definitely her cutest and happiest when she's out, near and around you - Also needs someone who knows how to trim their nails and this one needs it.
$100.00 Re-Homing fee to ensure good home in addition to the hay, food pellets, little rabbit bed, a few toys and water bowl that goes with her/him that we've since purchased.
Only thing she needs is a Rabbit Cage House with plenty of room for her to move around in. Also some bedding as we have used up most of the little bag we've purchased.
If interested in adopting, text or email.
