How You’ll Make a Difference WWG is looking for a well qualified Portfolio Construction Manager (PCM) to oversee the capital expenditure improvements on a multi-property portfolio of commercial real estate assets across several states. The PCM will be responsible for working in the field with third party businesses and contractors to execute detailed improvement plans on company-owned properties. With support from the contract administration team in the corporate office, under the direction of the VP of Construction, the PCM will ensure improvements are bid, qualified, contracted and executed in a timely manner and on budget. Some of the specific functions will include: • Assembling a team of qualified, national contractors and local subcontractors • Providing feedback to the contract administration team as needed to qualify bids and proposals • Processing submittals, as needed, with various city and county departments to obtain necessary permits • Creating and maintaining internal and external reporting schedules • Reviewing and approving contractor pay applications, including change order requests • Providing monthly project budget updates • Assisting with the preparation and delivery of management reports Please note that you may be asked to perform a variety of duties from time to time, which may not fall strictly in your job description. What Makes this Opportunity Awesome • Make a difference and have a positive impact. • Take the lead on team initiatives, learn new skills, build your management capabilities, and take advantage of the many growth opportunities. • Contribute creatively to the organization’s success by generating new and useful ideas About You: • Education: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred • Experience: Preferred 8 - 10 years experience in commercial construction projects and contract administration • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) including active listening • Relationship skills: ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships – both internal and external. • Organizational skills/Multi-tasking: Exceptional organization skills with the ability to allocate one’s time effectively; ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities; ability to prioritize workload; and an ability to work at a detailed level. • Strong Leadership skills. • Proven skills in contributing to the development of company objectives and achieving desired goals. • Strong accountability combined with strong work ethic and enthusiasm for teamwork • Energetic self-starter with an ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. • Intrapersonal: A willingness to learn in a dynamic environment that includes new ideas and innovation, intellectually curious, adaptable and ambitious. • Computer Skills: This position proactively manages, evaluates and assesses information including using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Adobe Professional, Google Drive and Basecamp, Salesforce & Smartsheet. • Travel is required At The William Warren Group, we believe in the talent of our people.
