Description
This poor sweet boy was abandoned from a rental across the street from me. I watched them bring him as a kitten when they moved in, and then just let him outside and quit taking care of him as he got older. I even offered to have him neutered for them but they would not allow me to. Once they got evicted, they left him here. He had been getting in fights with neighborhood strays and I was finally able to get him neutered last week. While they were examining him, the vet found that he had been shot and removed a bullet from his back! I am so angry that someone would ever do that to an animal! It is apparently from a pellet gun and we are investigating to find out who has one and shoots it in our area. He is a very sweet boy and loves to hang out in my backyard, but my cats hate him since they are older and territorial. He is still young, about 2 years old. He tries to come in my house all the time and he successfully grabbed a catnip toy brought it outside with him. He loves to play and be cuddled. He is very affectionate and deserves a good home where he is treasured, like he deserves to be. The only issue I see, is that he has not been indoors enough to see if he will use a litterbox. From my experience with strays that I have taken in, they are usually trainable but I cannot say for sure since I have not been able to allow him in my house with my other kitties. I know this boy could use a bath. He also has some minor wounds and cuts on his ears from fights. I would love to see someone give him a loving home. Must pick up in Piqua.
