I am kicking around the idea of getting some guys together to form a Southern Rock/Outlaw Country band. I play bass in a classic country band that plays parties and events but I am wanting to play a little more. I play bass, can play rhythm guitar, can sing a little. I have a small pa good for practice. Have my own equipment. I'd like to play more parties, events and maybe some places around town. Think ZZ Top, Skynyrd, Waylon, Hank Jr, etc. Whoever can sing it the best gets to sing. If you play multiple instruments then even better. I'd love to switch off on bass/guitar at times. Looking for around my age group, I am 54. Not into any type of drugs or smoking. Social drinker. So drugs and no drunks. Just good people that enjoy the music. I'm available weekday evenings to practice and some weekend days. I don't have space though. Would like to stay in the general Ft Worth area. I know a drummer but he lives way out in the sticks so not sure how that would work out. Get in touch.
