From the City of Safety Harbor: October 16, 2020 CITY OF SAFETY HARBOR, FLORIDA MARCH 9, 2021 MUNICIPAL ELECTION In accordance with the City Charter and Chapter 6 of the City Code, the Municipal Election of the City of Safety Harbor will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in the City of Safety Harbor between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. This Municipal Election will be for the purpose of electing Commissioners to Seat Numbers 1, 2 and 3 for three (3) year terms. The candidate "Qualifying Period" shall begin at 12:00 p.m. on December 7, 2020 and shall end at 12:00 p.m. on December 14, 2020. A candidate needs a MINIMUM of ONE HUNDRED (100) signed and completed Nominating Petitions submitted and verified before the close of the Qualifying Period. All Nominators MUST BE qualified electors in the City of Safety Harbor at the time the petition is signed. Candidate forms and information is available at the Office of the City Clerk.
