CSX Transportation Schedules Railroad Crossing Closures

Press release from the City of Safety Harbor: CSX Transportation has scheduled rail crossings, in both Hillsborough and Pinellas County, for closure in order to complete maintenance and repairs beginning in January 2021. This work will necessitate rerouting traffic around the crossings. CSX signage will be in place marking detour routes. Please note the Safety Harbor locations and expected closure dates. Each crossing will be closed for 2 to 5 days depending on the maintenance work that needs to be performed. Schedule dates are subject to change so please continue to review further advisories.
