Loyola Beach presents a weekend of music and mural making on the sandy beaches of Rogers Park. 12 Bands over 2 days (folk, indie rock and jazz fusion, gypsy jazz, classical guitar and world). Save the Date! June 18 & 19th. Music starts at 10:00 AM. 160 murals will be painted on the concrete sea bench. 20-foot stage in the meadow at Farwell Street. Circle Gardens, a community garden within Loyola Park, will offer chalk drawing on their community garden beds. Synapse Dance will perform throughout the park on Sunday, welcoming visitors into the festival. Third Estate Art will host a kids activities tent whereby kids of all ages can paint their tiny future world on a tiny globe. Artist Collective P.O. Box Collective will participate in the weekend’s activities as well. Food and drinks will be available at the RoPa Cabana, and nearby restaurants deliver to the park as well.
