Part Time Sales Staff for Estate Sale Company

We are a Los Angeles Estate Sales company looking for help with sales associates at on-site locations of our clients property. The locations change and are usually just a couple of times a month, usually weekends and sometimes Fridays as well. We tend to concentrate on modern, West Side properties which can stretch from Hancock Park and Beverly Hills to Topanga Canyon, Pacific Palisades etc. We have a couple of large assignments coming up and need to bolster our sales crew appropriately. Our role is to sell the entire contents of the house for our clients and your responsibilities will be to help field general questions from the public, help with sales of each item (each item will already be priced) and add those sold items to the Clover POS system and marking those items as sold. You will be assigned an area (maybe a room or two or three of the property) and will be responsible for helping and trying to sell all of the items contained within. We offer a low-key, safe and relaxed working environment and always have a security guard at the front door to help sign folk in. A limited number of people will be allowed in the property at one time as we continue to acclimate with the latest Covid health issues and guidelines. Full Covid vaccination and face masks are preferred as we fully expect a couple of hundred people through the properties over the weekend. An ideal candidate will be presentable, punctual, great with the public, able to travel to and from the sales location on their own and OK with working at the weekends. Experience with a Clover handheld POS would be a bonus but full training will be given for both the POS and the position. Help will constantly be available throughout the sale process by any of the other staff on-site at the time. We will supply drinks and lunchtime food (usually pizza - but you're welcome to bring your own) and pay $18 per hour for each working day from 8:30-4:30.
