Hello Chula Vista! We at St. Carmen Health Providers are looking for a volunteer for a very special senior in the Chula Vista area near Scripps Mercy Hospital. She is a very nice lady with dementia and speaks Spanish only. She is cared by her daughter who is also very sweet and fun to talk to. You would visit her weekly for 2-3 hours and just offer your conversation and light support. You will not be asked to clean her house, offer medical attention, do any heavy lifting, or be left alone with her. We ask for a 6 month commitment please. This is a great opportunity for retirees, nursing students, future psychology related professionals, or anyone just wanting to give of their time.
